Perrier en Terrasse, Trentemoult

This is the French version of San Pellegrino. With the arrival of the hot days, I felt inspired to paint this scene. The piece is based on a photo I captured last summer in a colorful village called Trentemoult, which is 10 min by boat from the city of Nantes. Me and my partner had stopped at a terrassé to have a drink while enjoying the fresh breeze of the river. For those unfamiliar, Nantes hosts an annual art event featuring sculptures and installations scattered throughout the city. You may want to stop by this summer, people from all over Europe come for the event !
